CUPH Series (Counterbore)
These Cup Magnets, also called Pot Magnets or Pots, have a hole in the magnet and a smaller hole through the steel housing to form a counterbore that accommodates various types of screws and bolts. The steel housing protects the magnet and focuses its magnetism on one side, increasing its strength when attaching directly to flat magnetic surfaces. They are compatible with rubber boots for further protection and anti-slip properties.
Additional Product Information for CUPH Series (Counterbore)
These magnet assemblies have a ring affixed inside a robust steel housing, and are designed to be mounted with a screw. Often also referred to as POT magnets or CUP Magnets, due to the way they are assembled.
The outward facing side of the Neodymium Magnet has a polarity that faces North, and due to the magnetically conductive nature of the steel cup, it causes the outer portion of the steel cup to have a South facing pole.
Protective rubber boots are also available for further protection, and anti-slip properties.
Neodymium Magnets (NdFeB)
Neodymium magnets (NdFeB) are the strongest permanent magnet material commercially available.
